PRIDE defeat Portsmouth University

PRIDE defeat Portsmouth University

The PRIDE joined Portsmouth University at the end of their 3 day camp in Swindon for a game to end their camp. The newly promoted BUCS Premiership team fought hard for 4 quarters but the PRIDE were in no mood to concede points. Another 48- victory thanks in no small part to an excellent goal line stand to end the first half by the defense. The defensive line of Gallagher, Christian, Liou, Kimpbiabi, Evenhuish and Lewis were exceptional all day. Offensively again points were missed with 3 scores called back for penalties and further dropped passes. The receivers did make up for this though with some fantastic toe tapping scores from both Imbimbo and Eldewieh off the arm of Stitt. Stitt added points with his feet as well and both Attama and Setzekorn had huge days on the ground thanks to the excellent work upfront again from the offensive line.

̶Things are really starting to come together now. Toughest game is yet to come this side of Christmas and we’ll have to cut out our mistakes if we are to beat Loughborough University when they visit us on November 26th” – Coach Herod
